Killzone 2 DLC#3 Napalm and Cordite

In this DLC pack, two new multiplayer maps will be coming, Suljeva Cliffside and Arctower Landing. The two new weapons will also be found in these maps, you can find the flamethrower in the Suljeva Cliffside map and the bultgun in the Arctower Landing map. Resistance 1.4 update

Here are the details for the trophies

• “Salute Me” trophy is not awarded until player reaches level 31 (Lieutenant)“
• Berserker” trophy can be collected during non-ranked games
• “Survivor” medal can be collected in cooperative games
• “Sure Shot” ribbon is awarded if player has accuracy of exactly 50%

Clans

• Added clan support for viewing members, sending invites, and setting up clan tags
• Default clan region is now USA

Match Balancing

• Unbalanced ranked games are cancelled in staging before the game is started
• Parties are prevented from matchmaking into free-for-all Deathmatch games

Competitive

• Loadouts can be disabled in the “Create Game” screen in competitive games
• Balanced the chance of dropping large ammo pickups in competitive games
• Core Control scoreboard displays “Kills”
• Improved scoreboard formatting

Cooperative

• Balanced the amount of XP gained by the Medic class in cooperative games
• Stalker movement enabled in cooperative games
• Small ammo pickups don’t give LAARK ammo in cooperative games

Weapons/Gameplay

• Splash damage on Pulse Cannon can damage the player firing it
• Rossmore reticule better reflects its accuracy
• Fire is easier to shake off
• Players cannot swap weapons in the middle of a melee attack

Killzone 2 is #2 on Amazon

Killzone 2 has long been the center of a lot of attention by hardcore PS3 fans for it’s ultra-realistic graphics and deep multi-player gameplay. However, the title’s popularity even among the masses is becoming increasingly more obvious.

Amazon just announced earlier today that Killzone 2 was the number one most pre-ordered PS3 game and the #2 most pre-ordered video game total. This puts it above other various blockbuster releases due out soon, including Street Fighter IV(PS3/360 - #8), Halo Wars(360 - #7), and even Capcom’s highly anticipated Resident Evil 5(PS3/360 - #4).

Killzone 2 is surpassed only by Mario Power Tennis, which is due out for the Wii in March.

Killzone 2 is a first person shooter and sequel to the 2004 title of the same name. Developed by Guerilla Games exclusively for the PS3, Killzone 2 will hit shelves late in February, on the 27th.
